2017/18 Yannick Bolasie

At least he tries which is more then a fair few at this club want to do.

Honestly lad comes back from a potentially career ending injury, being played on his weaker side and being forced to play wing back in some games. With all that and still scoring goals and creating chances because he's not constantly amazing and carrying the team, He gets dogs abuse.

The lads frustrating we all know that but we'd be a lot worse off without him this season. Some of the posts on here are embarrassing.

Hahahahahahaha. No.

Yet Theo Walcott and several others do absolutely nothing and get no stick whatsoever, while this no mark, no talent waste has produced our only goal threat in the last three games.

I just don't get it. He certainly earns some of the stick he gets, but at least he ain't invisible.

Walcott is a good player when used correctly and has proven it over his career. Bolasie isn't and hasn't.

Be fair Michael, the jury is surely still out on Walcott.

He's accumulated a very good goals to games ratio but the context is, at Arsenal, he's had a constant supply line of ammunition.
Ozil, Sanchez, Van Persie... He's been playing with some of the best players the PL has ever seen. That's not to dismiss his quality but the downside to him coming here and being Billy Big Balls is that we don't have that level of player yet. If he starts inflicting his presence on games, scoring goals and driving our inferior team onwards then I'm sure many, including myself, will put our hands up.
What I've seen so far is the same passive Walcott I feared we'd see. One that took 85 minutes in the derby to start demanding the ball so he could run at KLAVAN.
As I say, jury is still out. And reasonably so.

Lol, goal not goals. And a consolation goal when we were already well beaten at that.

The criticisms of our young players such as they don't track back or they give the ball away stupidly apply way more to Yannick than they do to Vlasic/Lookman
