A player who shouldn't be at the club next season backing another player who shouldn't be at the club.

This is what is wrong with us. Time to be ruthless and cull this average squad.
The danger with any cull at Everton is that it will disrupt the warm and fuzzy family feel of the club. Moshiri mentioned this when James McCarthy looked close to leaving. He stayed because "he is one of the family". I appreciate that such a beneficent approach to our players make us pretty crap at football but the upside is we can put on an excellent Blue Chrimbo...Capt Jags' blue Santa routine and Bainsey dressed as elf etc etc. At the end of the day, as a family club, such celebrations are waaaay more important, and provide longer lasting memories, than winning the odd competition.
We all love and support Everton because it cherishes life's important things...community and family.

Sounds lovely, but winning the odd important football match wouldn't go amiss either

Someone will be stupid enough to offer £20m for him this summer. We need to bite their hands off.

Wouldn't surprise me. Bolasie would still be an attractive signing for a Brighton, Huddersfield, back to Palace perhaps, Wolves or a Cardiff/Fulham.

The benefit of the highlights reel when you're trying to sell a player is that the buying club hopefully won't see the 95% of the time that he's been crap. And promoted PL clubs especially like players with PL experience and goals to his name, something Bolasie does have.

Be fair Michael, the jury is surely still out on Walcott.

He's accumulated a very good goals to games ratio but the context is, at Arsenal, he's had a constant supply line of ammunition.
Ozil, Sanchez, Van Persie... He's been playing with some of the best players the PL has ever seen. That's not to dismiss his quality but the downside to him coming here and being Billy Big Balls is that we don't have that level of player yet. If he starts inflicting his presence on games, scoring goals and driving our inferior team onwards then I'm sure many, including myself, will put our hands up.
What I've seen so far is the same passive Walcott I feared we'd see. One that took 85 minutes in the derby to start demanding the ball so he could run at KLAVAN.
As I say, jury is still out. And reasonably so.

Our manager does not allow him over the half way line in games against the top 6 or any away from home. The "Billy big bollocks" thing, I just don't see it. Not to say that won't happen in the future, it very well could do, but I'm going to wait until we're playing a proper system with the likes of Walcott playing as a wide forward rather than an auxiliary wing back before I prematurely judge someone with clear and obvious quality. Same goes for Tosun, I'm not going to make a judgement on him until we allow a player within 50 yards of him during the game and start passing the ball to him when facing the goal.

Seamus was looking for him all game...somehow Bolasie made himself available over and over again on the other side. Seamus found him with the cross that led to the OG.

What, Swansea? By over and over again do you mean once, for the goal, while he spent the rest of the game playing left back just like he was against Liverpool, City and every other away game? We barely mounted an attack against Swansea from either flank.

What I'm saying is Bolasie has never proven to be quality either before or during his time at Everton. Walcott has, so I'll allow him a bit of time.
