Seem to recall him saying that ‘technically’ he would be our player for another year because he’s under contract, but that the number 10 position was very crowded.

Or something.

That was in the interview he did on deadline day when the chelsea move fell apart, ya?
He came accross as being exceedingly annoyed in that interview - I wouldn't read too much into it, our business that day was a shambles with deals falling through and that interview was all about trying to control stories in the media. I'm pretty certain that was the interview where he talked about Ross doing a medical and then saying no... despite that apparently not happening.

Be a couple of months before he's back to his normal standard, maybe even take until next season as from this moment on he' basically playing catch up on his fitness.

Still, having him available to maybe come off the bench in a few weeks time will be a great weapon to have.

I'll be delighted to have him back in the squad.

Thankfully when he comes back he won’t be judged on his transfer (that falls on sig) and people can judge him on his game.

He was top of the chances made list 3 months after he was injured.

People like to hate on him cos we paid 25m, he has pace, he makes things happen, he will be a very welcome return.

Bolasie, Barkley and Coleman, fate couldnt have picked 3 worse players to be injured for us, none of these players we had replacements for and all 3 will MASSIVELY improve us on their return.
