Hard for me to measure how his return will impact the team, since today the rest of the 19 field players were generally lethargic. By contrast, in terms of returning from a year-long injury he looked quite sprightly. No doubt, he'll improve and offer a creative threat going forward, but his wide play and crosses don't have a good target in the box. That said, I'm made up for him that he's back.

For me this is one reason we are going for clean sheets and anything else is bonus, we dont have a stirker or a set up available now that Sams can work into one of his systems, Jan should sort this, only at the end of next month should we worry about going into a game hoping for a 0 0
 


Absolutely no point playing him if we don’t take enough risks to allow him to use his pace and break away, or run into balls. Only so much he can do from standing still.
 
Rubbish yesterday but I'll let him off due to lack of match sharpness. However it instantly provided flashbacks to his awfulness, taking fifteen little touches instead of just passing it to a player, trying too many silly tricks instead of playing simple passes, etc. Not good to watch, but fully expected from me.
