I was happy to see Bolasie on the bench and that Sam is trying to get him match fit.
Looking back though on yesterday I was surprised to see how unfit and out of shape he was. He offered nothing.
In retrospect, Vlasic or Lookman or both needed a run. Vlasic especially has done quite well whenever he has played. The team lacked
pace and invention. With a number of tough games coming up unless Sam really parks the bus then Vlasic should be given a spot. He could really add some quality which the team so clearly lacks.
Here's an example of a player where the fan's perception has improved simply because he's been on the sidelines whilst some of the worst teams in Everton's recent past have taken to the field.
