I didn't really rate him before his injury and I can't see it improving him. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

That's the thing for me, in that Man U game he got injured in it was all just about getting the ball to him (hoof it) as quick as possible, as soon as he went off we actually started to play footy and looked more dangerous, and it was the same mostly for the rest of the season, us playing footy.

We'll never know how much difference he would have made if he hadn't got injured, but in the same amount of games after his injury that he had played in before the injury we gained a couple of points more in total without him, all conjecture like.

I was happy to see Bolasie on the bench and that Sam is trying to get him match fit.

Looking back though on yesterday I was surprised to see how unfit and out of shape he was. He offered nothing.

In retrospect, Vlasic or Lookman or both needed a run. Vlasic especially has done quite well whenever he has played. The team lacked
pace and invention. With a number of tough games coming up unless Sam really parks the bus then Vlasic should be given a spot. He could really add some quality which the team so clearly lacks.

You've answered your question as to why how unfit and out of shape he was mate, being fit, and match fit are 2 different things.

Thought he was decent first half, looked knackered after 30 minutes though, understandable
yeah, was good to see him run past a few players early on,and try that little trick etc, that actually came off i think it was in 1st min,did better than i thought he would do today

Not really sure why a 50% fit average Bolasie starts ahead of Lennon and causes Lookman to get booted out of the squad entirely.

Hate to be negative but never rated him. Our form with him in the team continues to be rotten.

Give us Pace and not much else I'm afraid. That was before the injury.... but good to see him back much better than Lennon.

He'll create by producing a decent cross out of every five. We need a striker who will want to get on those crosses.

Even though Bolasie isn't the best at crossing, he's currently the best in the team at beating a man and putting one in.

Unfortunately you can throw him onto the list of players we should never have signed over the past 18 months. Such a head down player, must be a nightmare to play alongside him.

Too early in his return from injury to be overly harsh in critiquing him.
But Yannick is what he is he : a footballer who mixes some very good stuff with a generous load of :Blink:

He needs to start to get that match fitness back, very good player but he needs to have somebody to aim at, which we need to address in January
