I get what you're saying, and agree to a point. There's two sides to it though.

Yes we should have been getting more people in the box, but... we weren't. He's got eyes in his head, he can see that there's nobody there, but he still crosses anyway. I posted it about a few times last year, it's as if he thinks launching the ball into the box means he can walk off saying 'I did my bit, it was your fault for not being there'. It's basically the attacking equivalent of a defender shepherding a player wide and then not trying to block a shot because he thinks the keeper should save it.
Again I understand your point and previously mentioned i'd like to see him attack the box himself more, cause a ruckus and pop off a shot or something.

That being said I've never ever seen Everton commit more than 1-2 man at a time to attacking an opponents box during open play in my entire life.

Every other team in the league attacks in numbers.

But they are the only facts that matter though mate - he's not even remotely good enough for Everton, hes a lower league journeyman that has got a lucky break joining us.

And whoever said Lukaku was crap and hindered us was wrong obviously, as he - unlike Bolasie, had a final product.
During.his.actual period of play for us prior to injury he had end product and if it weren't for players missing literal sitters, then his numbers would've been even better.

Except for.the part that that didn't happen. Maybe once. His crosses found the box, just we don't attack it.

Before his injury he was our most creative player. He was our.most creative player vs united too and that's the first half alone. He hasn't played in a year so let's give him a chance eh?

What does it matter if it finds the box if there's nobody there?! if he picked his head up and had a look LIKE A PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER then he'd see that and make a judgement not to just lump it anyway.

As for the creative player bit, literally everything siphoned through him, so its obvious that's what he was. The fact that we were terrible till he got injured compounds how bad he actually was.

Edit: Most of the crosses were to the middle of nowhere or out of touch. As usual.

Koemans tactics were off anyway. Change was needed and it wasn't down to Bolasie, the whole team was struggling.

Bolasie would've provided us with an incredibly better chance of picking up more points away from home last season in my opinion.

Perhaps if the rest of our squad played like professional.footballers and.got themselves into attacking positions then his crosses wouldn't seem so wayward ay?

Not another single player in our squad has done anything of note at all, so to be so critical of Bolasie who's had an extreme injury and been out for a year is simply not right in my opinion.

Even better than bang average? which is less than what his entire career numbers are? 1 in 10 for an out and out attacking winger, with the entirety of play going through him? with his assists being just as poor.

Sorry mate he's awful. A dreadful signing. Nice bloke, awful footballer.

In his Everton career prior to injury he had what, 1 goal and 4 assists in 12 appearances. Should have been more too.

Nothing wrong with those numbers. I don't give a flying one how he performed anywhere else because that's worked out so well for us with the likes of Klaassen, Sandro etc hasn't it?

He has come back exactly the same player as he left.

We all (most of us) bemoaned his lack of quality crossing, his messing around with the ball instead of playing it simple, stupid backheels and flicks that make him look an idiot when they don't come off.

It's not a YouTube showreel he's playing in, its a game of football, the only thing that matters is the scoreline at the end of it. He isn't creative, he doesn't assist, he doesn't score goals, and he's terrible defensively. I'm struggling to see why he should play.

Based.on what you're saying.who should we play? The rest of the squad who.do absolutely naff all as well?

Vlasic? Mirallas? Sandro? Don't make me laugh.

Siggy has made 18 prem apps for us and has a tally of 3 goals and 2 assists. Barely any difference and he cost us a whopping 45m

Now that bit I do agree with. However, they haven't had 9 years in English football, & 5 years of Premier League experience before making the move to us though mate - they have shown that they aren't used to the physicality and speed of the English game, and haven't had a quarter of the time on the pitch as Bolasie has had for us.

True say but I can only judge on time at Everton and if Bolasie is showing more than the others, which isn't exactly a mean feat.- then you have to respect it and so be it.

Do we need a better player in the future? Absolutely. But right now, for me, he's basically the best of a bad bunch alongside Lennon.

We need a helluva lot more quality amongst all positions in the squad.

Can't win with Evertonians. We lack quality, so we get some back via Bolasie. A couple of games back, he's crap.
He IS creative and he DOES assist, yes he doesn't score enough goals. When he and Lukaku were in the team together he set up quite a lot of Lukaku's goals.
But he CRAP.......same as the new fella nobody's seen is crap.
Strange bunch these Evertonians

That's just it mate, he isn't. There's nothing creative about giving the ball straight back to the opposition every time.

I've seen plenty of Bolasie to form the opinion that he's crap. I've been saying it for years, well before he came to us - as did plenty of people at the beginning of this thread, look at the responses to his signing when we were linked and you'll see what most Evertonians thought to it - the fee just compounds it.

As For Cenk Tosun, not seen him play so I don't have an opinion. From the snippets on YouTube he looks like he can finish.

I've always looked at it this way with Bolaise, when it looked like Zaha could be on his way to Spurs the Palace fans were fuming and frothing at the mouth at the thought, with Bolaise, they weren't really arsed at the thought of him going.

Never agreed with a post more.

Thinks he’s immune from criticism if he puts the ball in the box.

Literally doesn’t even attempt to find a man, just chuck it in there and let the rest of them deal with it.

Kenny does it too
