Surely it will take time, several matches to get match fit, also confidence needs to build after an injury like that and that will come with competitive matches.
I suppose with few strokes of the keyboard Big Dunc could take over as manager of Forest, and loan him in until match fit as we are awash with talent performing at the best of their abilities.

A lot of it in the lower leagues as well.

From my reckoning, 17 of them were in the lower leagues (and the mighty Maltese Premier League) - leaving 15, 3 of which were scored in 1 game against Sunderland, leaving 12 goals in his entire Premier League career. Finding his assists statistics was tricky as lower leagues are't really recorded, but from my reckoning it's 40 assists in total. In 10 years. But hey, he can roll his studs over the ball and run fast.

Brilliant.

Hitting crosses is a good idea, but hitting them TO someone is even better. I always thought basic coaching at an early level told you if theres no one to cross it to, dont, and if there is, hit them with it. I mean taking people on and hitting crosses is something, but lets also not pretend that its somehow satisfactory and/or good for results to just randomly wack crosses into defenders.

At some point, from some players, somewhere on the pitch, we need a finished product, not just random attempts.

SO DON'T CROSS IT?! RETAIN POSSESSION.

But he's not smart enough to do That, the showpony just lumps his big awkward foot through it into the middle of nowhere.
If you best your man to the byline, and turned back playing possession into martina - it would certainly cause more fume.

It's down to the rest of the squad being.numpties and never ever attacking the box.

Vs the united there was a.moment where we got the ball in, caused a scramble and it fell straight back to us. 2 players didn't even make an attempt to.get back onside or reposition for the incoming second cross. It's safe to say a dangerous moment came to absolutely nothing.

You can prove anything with facts mate.

It really doesn't matter though to a degree does it? I mean Lukaku bagged 1 in 2 but he was crap and hindered our play according to most.

The fact is Bolasie provides opposition something to actually think about which is.more than can be said about every other attacking player in our squad.

It would cause infinitely less fume than just lumping it out for a goal kick time after time.

Except for.the part that that didn't happen. Maybe once. His crosses found the box, just we don't attack it.

Before his injury he was our most creative player. He was our.most creative player vs united too and that's the first half alone. He hasn't played in a year so let's give him a chance eh?

I get what you're saying, and agree to a point. There's two sides to it though.

Yes we should have been getting more people in the box, but... we weren't. He's got eyes in his head, he can see that there's nobody there, but he still crosses anyway. I posted about it a few times last year, it's as if he thinks launching the ball into the box means he can walk off saying 'I did my bit, it was your fault for not being there'. It's basically the attacking equivalent of a defender shepherding a player wide and then not trying to block a shot because he thinks the keeper should save it.

But they are the only facts that matter though mate - he's not even remotely good enough for Everton, hes a lower league journeyman that has got a lucky break joining us.

And whoever said Lukaku was crap and hindered us was wrong obviously, as he - unlike Bolasie, had a final product.
