Did you rate Steven Pienaar?

Yes because he had an end product, he also had an almost telepathic connection with Baines, who also scored and created goals. Bolasie either gives the ball back to the opposition or crosses it to the middle of nowhere.

Pienaar had a knack of 'assisting the assister', Bolasie offers nothing. He can kick a ball past someone and knock it out for a goal kick pretty well though.

Pienaar and Bolasie can never be compared. One as you say offered a brilliant combination with Baines that terrorised teams for years, whilst Bolasie is actually incapable anything like that as he plays with his head down so much.

Such a bad signing. At best he's an impact player from the bench.

So you've used assists as a barometer for stating Bolasie is cack.
But then ignore that for Pienaar, instead using more context.
Makes sense o_O

No if you read it I implied he offered more than just assists, he was a team player - not selfish, wanting to show off his flicks and skills literally every time he got the ball, only to lose it every time.

Bolasie offers nothing, and I mean nothing. What's the point in beating his man if all he does is lose it or give it away after?

Had a good first half but clearly spent early on in the second. His pace and trickery is fantastic, need to get bodies in the box when he drives forward.

Genuinely think if we have any chance of beating the reds it'll be largely due to how Bolasie performs.

No chance as always then. He'll be so isolated on Friday it'll be difficult for any player in the world to perform.

Think the comment carragher made during the match yesterday was spot on. Needs Martina to not push ahead of him as it takes up the space in front on yanick and also brings an opposition player into the area.
Yanick is best running one on one with the space in behind.

I think from watching him last night, he's unconsciously shortened his stride in an attempt to not get injured again, or pull a hamstring.
Need to sell if possible in the summer.

All the arguing is futile really.Im sure that we'll only have to put up with him for another four months!Although with that said. The noises he is making, about being here next season are a little concerning!

He was just about getting past Lindelöf, like a step ahead of him before putting in a cross. Which he was having to do right away because Lindelöf would have caught up and tackled.

If United had Valencia fit or any proper full back with a bit of pace he'd have done nothing against him.

I can't see him being able to get past Gomez or Robertson on Friday.
