had his best game for us yesterday, looked a threat running down the wing. didn't always get the end result with a decent cross but hopefully he can get better with more time on the pitch and the same team playing week on week

We’ve got too many player who want to slow the game down when we get the chance to counterattack.

Bolasie clearly has pace to burn. Just wish he’d stop fannying around & use it. Forget the tricks, just knock the ball past defenders & rip them.

Seeing Kanchelskis on the pitch yesterday, get him to weightwatchers & get some boots on him!!!

also myself criticised him all afternoon until a 20 minute period when he learnt how to cross the ball a real showboater , but changed our game today with one good run and cross the rest was dross!

I was all for having him subbed then he produced the cross for the goal!!what do I know eh?lol

Credit where it's due for yesterday. He can be a very frustrating player but he was involved in a lot of our attacking intent yesterday and it was great to see him working so hard to get back in the second half and help out down near the corner. It doesn't always work our for some players on the ball so the least we expect as supporters is for some hard work in tracking back and he did that yesterday too.

Baffled at the praise he's getting from some posters here. Is one half-decent cross enough end product from a 90 minute outing? He was absolutely, absolutely dreadful before that. Look at the state of him moving his feet like he's Michael Flatley instead of pushing it past the defender, even when he's got nobody near him he's shaking his legs like Michael Jackson instead of just moving like a regular human being. His stats, based on his entire career, show he's good in League One and Two, ok in the Championship, and awful in the top division. Go look at the stats, terrible scoring record, very few assists.

If Bolasie is worth 27m, Sigurdsson must surely be worth about 900m at the very minimum.

But ignore the stats for a second, watch Bolasie and try not to laugh when you know he's a 70k a week football for our team.

If Bolasie is worth 27m, Sigurdsson must surely be worth about 900m at the very minimum.

But ignore the stats for a second, watch Bolasie and try not to laugh when you know he's a 70k a week football for our team.

I try not to laugh when I see Sandro, Schneids etc on 100+

Honestly I like Bolasie, he may not be a world beater but he's decent and we were producing nothing without him yesterday

All that says is our squad is full of wage stealers due to the ineptitude shown by our director of football and previous managers. I count Bolasie as one of them too. To think Mane cost a mere 10m more, Salah too even in the current crazy climate of transfer fees.

True we need to be more crafty in the market. Hopefully Lookman comes back ready to be involved next season, as it is right now there isn't really another winger we can play bar Vlasic who doesn't seem to be getting a look in for similar reasons to Lookman.

I think if Bolasie stays fit be can play a much bigger role for us but there will always be days he frustrates

Agreed mate. There's nothing we can do about his wages now and nobody is going to pay good money to take him off our hands. I think he could be useful off the bench, but really hope, as you say, that Lookman and Vlasic can push on next season. Lookman probably has a much bigger chance seeing as he's in and around the Leipzig team while Vlasic has been banished from ours!
