...willyful perhaps?Goodness. You've been shown why people believe it is, and have chosen to not look or ignore it. Wilful ignorance is still ignorance.

No it’s not. How is a song which suggests that a specific person has a large penis racist? I can only assume you have created a new definition of racism. Can you please share your definition of racism, I would like to compare it to the official definition of the word.
Well you must have mentally collected some data otherwise how could you possibly know that people went from loving it to hating it ? truth is the people who loved it probably still love it and the people criticising it probably never loved it in the first place despite your insistence that everyone loved it.
Dr Durand Durand was the baddy in that 60's futuristic movie Barbarella...I think Simon Le Bon got the band's name from this.So you're being pedantic because I used the word everyone?
If I said that everyone used to love Duran Duran in the eighties do you think I genuinely am saying that the whole population was in love with them?
I probably in the the parlance of our times mentally collected the data that they were very popular.
Probably not the best analogy but I'm actually enjoying listening to Duran Duran on a Friday night and I tire of this banter.
Ok, I feel there may be a thread ban coming on because of this, so out of respect I will not discuss further after this post. I suppose my main gripe is that anyone can call “racism”or “offensive” without justification, and when people ask why something is offensive they just get attacked rather than educated because the ”offended” are aware that they are mostly being offended on behalf of someone that is not really offended. (Unless you have evidence that Mina is offended by being accused of having a large penis, in which case I will offer my humblest apologies)
But hey, servience is easier than debate. And that is what we have just created. One nil for the man.
That is the opposite of what @Tilling 's post directly quoting you didOk, I feel there may be a thread ban coming on because of this, so out of respect I will not discuss further after this post. You can add with it the whole sexualising Gomes thing too which I also find odd.
