If he was lightning fast mate then he would be at superstar level , and wouldn't be at the club. Credit where credit is due , he is a bloody good centre half.

Played really well but my god he scares me when he does the classic South American madness when he’s the only thing between the opposition and Pickford. Luckily he’s not RFM so we’re usually alright lol

The 3 at the back with him centrally perfectly suits him.

What we need is another centre back to play the opposite side to Holgate.

If we can get someone like that in then we can start signing more players there to add competition...

After having to play with Keane for most of the season so far,he has done well. Seems to have formed a better partnership with Holgate,still doesn’t clear it well enough which has and will cause us problems.

Just wish he’d do better on his headers. Think he got more header goals in 6 games for Colombia in the WC than he has for us. Should have had a couple this season, we’d be further up the table if he wasn’t banging them straight at the keeper.

Our delivery is partly to blame for this. Corners have been abysmal all season.

...I gave him MoM as well. I think he’s becoming a quite influential leader, I noticed Ancelotti calling him over for a chat.

@davek is right about his lack of pace and mobility but is wrong about him just being ok as he’s a very decent defender. Forwards get a run on Keane and he’s out the game, Mina is less exposed because he’ll block runners off the ball. He does need the right partner, though.

Saw that as well. Mina definitely seems to be a vocal leader in the pack, if Coleman isn't playing I'd rather the armband tossed to him over Sigurdsson.
