Unarguably true but oddly not a point accepted by all the fan base. Not sure why some don’t want to accept it. Had folk last season quoting you the percentage of match day squads he’s been involved in since joining us and saying it’s a myth he’s injury prone.

Always seems to be injured when we really, really need him as well. Now, for example, we’re missing other big players, the protection from midfield players in front of the defence looks looks weak, we need him but he’s injured.

For different reasons, in each case, I’m coming round to the view there isn’t a single one of our four senior centre backs good or reliable enough to be a first team starter. Add two new first choice, starting 11, centre backs to the list Marcel, cheers.

That's not true. He misses games for Colombia too and will be missing the ones in November.

I was talking about past records not future ones. I don’t recall him rmissing many international games, yet he misses far too many Everton games. It’s frustrating as he’s by far our best centre-half. But if he’s unavailable for so many games it’s pretty pointless keeping him unfortunately. The state we are in we need our best players week-in week-out and that’s not the case with Yerald. Sad, but that’s how it is.
