No mate. No celebration.
Just pointing out a fact to back up my opinion that Mina was a good centre back and it isn't necessarily a low bar as you said it was. Mina has been our best centre back for the last 5 years. The amount of time he played is irrelevant to the discussion as to whether he was a good player or not..

Hahahaha our we really celebrating once being second at xmas? I take it back he was the BEST lollollol

If you think he was good then fine. I'm not here to argue the toss with you it's boring. My original point didn't say he wasn't good just don't understand the sudden hero worship now he's left. Anyone else with a similar injury record certainly doesn't get the praise Mina is now getting that's all. Still don't get why you thought us being 2nd at chrimbo makes him a good defender.Did he play after chrimbo and play a part in us dropping down the table?

He played 13 times from first 15 games that season and we won 9, drew 2 and lost 2. That was basically his longest and most consistent run in the team during his time here the outcome was that we were a proper competitive team.

When he got injured after Xmas, our season fell away.

So my point was that was if people think Keane is rubbish and Coleman hasn't performed for 3 seasons, whilst Digne was always better going forward than defending, the rock in that defence was Mina and that was also proven st the end of this and last season. Shame about his wicker shins..

The praise comes from giving his all to keep us up even though he clearly knew he was leaving...

Giving his all for the club who pay his wages you mean? Thats the bare minimum anyone should expect from anyone in the team. Considering he spent a hell of a lot of time picking wages up and not playing thats the least he owed us.

Didnt Holgate and Godfrey play in that defence as well and wasnt that the year everyone had Godfrey earmarked as a bit of a player?

Injured loads but he was our only top player we had in recent years. Last good player we will see for years too
Only top player? As in world class? Not sure about that Richarlison may also question only top player shout as well as Pickford, I think Gordon would have something to say about that too 😂 he’s a crab tho so ignore him
