Only top player? As in world class? Not sure about that Richarlison may also question only top player shout as well as Pickford, I think Gordon would have something to say about that too 😂 he’s a crab tho so ignore him
Richarlison and Gordon don't play for us...unless you've gone all back to the future. I also didn't say world class.

H's a good CB, arguably the best at Everton since he's been here, and he's been a regular for his country for a long time.

Being out injured for long periods doesn't change that. You don't become a poor player because you're injured and you shouldn't be
criticised because you're injured.
Despite being consistently fit for country and unfit for club?

If you’d of put we had. And not added in recent years I wouldn’t of went back to the future. I was only asking whether you meant world class by top player? As a top player to me a world class player.

Was he consistently fit for country? He didn't play for Colombia when he was out injured at Everton.
To be fair, I can't quote dates and injuries, so maybe unfair of me to say that, but it was a distinct impression that he'd get fit for us for a couple of games, then play internationally, and afterward get injured again. Maybe I just have the wrong impression, or maybe he'd play for Colombia with a niggle, which then turned into an injury as a result.

Yes, at least one of his injuries happened when playing for Colombia and he missed Everton games when he got back.

He didn't play for Colombia while he was out injured at Everton.

I came across reports from Colombia that he couldn't play in WC Qualifiers because of injury.

We let him go but keep nomark Keane, is Dyche's bed partner ???
We let him go because of his injury record and extremely high wages. Otherwise I'm sure we'd have kept him. If he hadn't had the injury record, I m sure he'd have been bought by a top club in the Champions League long ago.

As for Keane, he's what we've got at the moment.

He played 13 times from first 15 games that season and we won 9, drew 2 and lost 2. That was basically his longest and most consistent run in the team during his time here the outcome was that we were a proper competitive team.

When he got injured after Xmas, our season fell away.

So my point was that was if people think Keane is rubbish and Coleman hasn't performed for 3 seasons, whilst Digne was always better going forward than defending, the rock in that defence was Mina and that was also proven st the end of this and last season. Shame about his wicker shins..

The praise comes from giving his all to keep us up even though he clearly knew he was leaving...
I worry about the drop off in quality behind him, I get the decision to let such an injury prone player go but the difference when is there is as big as DCL's impact.
