Young EFC Players Out On Loan 17-18

From what I saw in the highlights, Dowell looked involved in everything Forest did against Fulham, was unlucky not to get a goal and/or assist...

Think this loan is the best option for him, realistically he's playing well and getting experience in the championship for a club struggling at the minute but with potential to turn it around, but are still letting him play heavy minutes. He's playing in front of big crowds with real pressure, whereas we are saturated with number 10's in our squad. I know loans are always hit and miss, however, I think Dowell will come back a superior all-around footballer from the experience his had and this seems like it could be one of the better loans from the cohort of championship loans this season.

...thanks Matey. I've not heard that Galloway is injured which suggests he's fallen totally out of favour at Sunderland.

My loose benchmark is that these players need to be creating such an impression that we'd be interested in buying if they weren't already ours.

Let's not forget that Galloway was bought as a CB. That spell he had deputising for Baines at LB was in retrospect probably the worst thing that could have happened to him because he is now viewed by many only as a full back.

Cant picture him at cb too lightweight granted not seen him in action lately
