Browning seems to have settled in nicely into out set-up guys. Confident on the ball, happy to put his foot in when required and is coming along nicely - Cheers Everton! Looks like he's been playing for years, very happy for his progress.

Galloway, well isn't doing as well. I think it's partly our fault though as we stuck him at full-back and I think he's more of a central defender? Lad had a mare v Leeds, took off HT for his own good (fans were starting to turn on him after he lost the ball a few times). Was getting torn apart by the Leeds attacker, completely AWOL at times. Has been completely frozen out of the team since. He's still young, and highly rated by some of your fans, so I'm all for giving the lad another chance but Grayson has other ideas it seems.

Not sure we'll see him again, I'll keep you informed if he comes back into the fold.

Callum Connolly played 90 mins for Ipswich U23s v Bristol City U23s tonight , it ended 2-2. It seems "a number of first teamers " were selected. This from Ipswich twitter :

Tonight at 20.30 (I hope people who read this take not that I always use local time; so 19.30 for you), KV Mechelen - Anderlecht. First match under the new trainer; doubtful he was was already able to change a lot of things since he has only seen the players for 2 days - most were away for the international break.

Expected line-up 3-4-3 (in theory; don't think in practice it will look like that since he still hasn't done any tactical training - one of the signature line-ups of Van Haezebrouck, always offensive).

That’s an interesting formation, if in the UK I’d be expecting Onyekuru to have defensive / wing back type duties , something I’ve never seen in him or am I reading that wrong?

Well yes he'll have a bit of defensive duties but normally not a lot because HVH always tries to have the ball (I think in games where they will be under pressure that he'll choose Obradovic). Basically he always plays with classic wingers who stick to the sidelines do loads of running, strive for possession of the ball and try to make the pitch as wide as possible. When the ball is lost, they have to put pressure and try to make the pitch as narrow as possible. Onyekuru should be able to do that.

Showed too much pace for our team for that first goal. Second goal is the first time I have seen him shift the ball and shoot, most of his other goals have been poachers efforts so good to see him score different types of goals.
