He confirms he was in Liverpool last weekend. He says he's awaiting something. "That's all I can say". I hope to be able to play for Everton in January. Everton is happy with my start of the season. But it's still not January and my concentration is at Anderlecht.
If he thinks that he'll still play a lot after this then (unless they are given something in return/some kind of assurances) he'll be in for a treat.

He keeps saving their arse with goals so not sure they have a right to be annoyed at him for this. They’d be even worse off if he wasn’t there.

I don't want him to come back in January if Koeman is just going to ruin him and stall his development by playing him out of position and making him change his playing style to more closely mimic that of a particularly industrious snail
Think he's got 6 goals in 9 league games for them now. Not bad considering how badly they seem to be playing this season.
Not a good idea to be bringing in a young forward from Belgian league when we are in a state of chaos with a manager who doesn't know what he's doing. Better in long run to let him finish the season over there. Also indicates to me that we're not confident about signing a proven centre forward in January.

What also worries me is we already have a plethora of wingers who never step foot onto the pitch. What's the point in recalling him if he's going to get limited game time, e.g. Lookman

I thought the same about all the Lukaku interviews tbf; he was just being honest -same as he is all the time but this is not something most enjoy (plus he’s a loan player they have no advantage from developing him).
Doubtful they would be worse off, they just would have sacked the trainer earlier. The same players, that won the title last year and got quarter final EL don’t suddenly become bad players. The first half yesterday was brilliant, Kums and especially Trebel were very good and I think an assist of 2, 3 of Hanni. Even Teodorczyck scored, could have had 3 or 4 but he didn’t-idiot. Second half wasn’t good they went from 1-4 to 3-4 because all the players were knackered. Will take a while before they can play at their old level for an entire match. PSG won’t be a pleasant experience.
