Anderlecht had a good match yesterday, but still lost. Can't say one of them particularly underperformed, just unlucky missed some easy chances . Genk had one chance and scored (0-1).

He had a good match. A shot against the post, some good dribbles also.

He got a bit of criticism from the coach though. Fair criticism in my view. The opponent was neutralizing Onyekuru + the right-back he faced was very good (he did better than Alves in the PSG game) and very fast. So the coach put on Obradovic and made Onyekuru switch to the the right-wing. This way he could play 1 on 1 against Uronen. For this to work he had to listen to the trainer and stick to his flank. Unfortunately he ignored the trainer and kept running in the centre, effectively creating a funnel of death.

We need a new right-back, was it that Mata fella on loan?

Everton are set to double their money on Henry Onkeyuru without him kicking a ball by selling him to Atletico Madrid or Juventus.

quote from The *** this morning, maybe not the most reliable source but may make sense if hes having permit problems. Cant argue with a double your money situation but would be a shame we don't get to see what he can do in a blue shirt

seen that in the gossip column this morning, if athletico and juventus are already after him he obviously has talent

just loan him out for another 6 months if needs be a permit will soon come through, cant be selling some youngster fopr 15mill to teams like that would end up being amazing and worth 10x knowing our luck

We'd be total morons to do that, the kid has obviously got something about him being a regular goalscorer and pace is king in the premier league and he seems to have it in abundance. I'm looking forward to seeing him in a blue shirt. The likes of Henry, Vlasic and Lookman might be the only things we remember fondly from Koeman's stint.

That's old news. I read it in one of the papers last week! Word for word.

Anderlecht won 2-0, despite a plethora of missed chances.

Small selection (could add more ...)

Teodorczyck:

Onyekuru (first one was a more difficult one, but could have done better. The second one was easy: either score or pass to the right for a hopefully certain goal):

Yeah, let the pass go across his body with his back to goal and played a subtle pass into the edge of box for player to set up the goalscorer. What we know he can do , just need more of it.

Some twitter comments after the Burton game:

One observation after the last few games - we are a dour and uncreative team when Dowell isn't playing. Wrap him in cotton wool. #nffc

Really hope Bouch and Dowell start next game, both bossed it when they came on. Cummings and Murphy both need kicks up the arse, tho! #nffc

Yeah, Burton were awful once they were forced to come out of their shell. Thought McKay's link up play with Dowell was scary good.

Fair enough. Clearly we watched different games. I thought we were pretty poor until Dowell came on.

Dowell was great, McKay and himself linked up beautifully and we really could and should’ve had a third when it was 2v2 with Dowell and McKay against two of theirs

Agree with giving MW time, but one of the problems he has is we create very little unless Dowell is playing. Can't play every game.

— Ravi (@ForestRav) October 21, 2017
If we hadn't have got Dowell I think he'd be starting most games. Dowell puts most to shame with his quality.

If anyone wants to take over the coverage of the loan players for the next week, it would be appreciated as I'm going to be unable to do much computer-related stuff during that time.

Recalling Henry Onykuru would solve a huge problem if we are able.

They say he doesn't have a recall clause. I think it's all just media speculation to keep people entertained; like certain newspapers that claim that he can go to Juventus etc. In his latest interview, he seems to be backtracking also...

Besides he's progressing nicely atm, don't think he can solve the malaise at Everton - at his present level. Would be sad if Everton isn't able to attract a better player (at this point in time) during January.

If you want to see him play tomorrow 18 H (17 GMT) against the last one in the division; almost guaranteed he'll score because their defence is like cheese with extremely big holes.

I think he would make an impact, but I have more faith in Mirallas and Niksi than most. I say we leave him at Anderlecht for now and let him develop because he is getting plenty of game time.
