It is that long ago i have forgotten who we were playing. All i remember was I was about 8 so it was in the mid 70s and i was absolutely gobsmacked when i walked up the stairs and seen the view on to the pitch and even more gobsmacked when the crowd roared. I was completely hooked and i supported a team that you could be proud of and actually won things. How good is that. Now it is ashamed and lose most things.
