Koeman knows that Barkley loves Everton and says "sign by end of the season or you'll be sold" thinking that he'll just sign it. Tough love and all that.

Barkley has allegedly signed already. Koeman/Walsh using him as a smokescreen so other clubs will target him instead of competing with us for our targets.

Dutch media are also writing about this transfer, apparently Everton made an 20 million Euro offer. He was a descent striker at Feyenoord last season, but I personally don't think he is can replace Lukaku at the moment.
