I saw visible improvement in him toward the end of last season, enough to warrant more minutes this season regardless of yesterdays kick about.

I've said on here, since I first saw Chermiti play, he just looks like a footballer, I can't put my finger on it, but, he just looks right. I wouldn't go overboard and say he is ready now. Equally, I don't think he is a million miles away from ready. I hope he is not sent out on loan this season and that he is our number two striker, given a few starts and a fair amount of time from the bench.
Yesterday’s Friedkin announcement will influence Dyche/ Thelwell’s thinking around Chermiti . It’s hard to see any fresh transfer money coming in for the January window , DCL needs to be sold because of his contract , and we’d likely take decent offers for Beto and Maupay , therefore Chermiti is not going on loan and will fight it out for minutes with the others. If we move on or loan out two of the other three we’ll need an additional striker as well as there’s nobody ready at u21 level. An interesting season lies ahead for young Yousef.
Oh indeed, no need to go overboard here - but he accomplished something his co -strikers didn’t manage,I would suggest we dont get carried away against what was a 2nd string LOI side.
I honestly would fancy my chances on getting a few against those lads.
If he does it in the PL then consider me very impressed.
So did Mason Holgate.Oh indeed, no need to go overboard here - but he accomplished something his co -strikers didn’t manage,
