Hes not gonna improve sitting on the bench, thats for sure.

….he’s 3rd choice and he’s getting some game time which suggests to me he must be showing something in training. Of course he’s going to be on the bench most of the time, only he can change that by looking the part when he comes on.

Also saw doucs run the ball into his own players and pass to a RS player on the edge of their own box.

…oh dear. You clearly haven’t noticed but Doucoure isn’t a conventional no10. Doucoure isn’t ‘meant‘ to only occupy the space between midfield and attack. He’s one of the first names on the team sheet for other reasons.

if Dyche wanted a conventional no10, there‘s a number of players in the current squad who’d be more effective than Doucoure. Chermiti isn’t one of them. There’s nothing I’ve seen in Chermiti’s game to suggest he’s anything but a back to goal striker.

He should come on for DCL late in the game rather than for Doucoure, he is showing glimpses of real movement. Doucoure should come out for Beto, it should be no problem since we kicked out players who couldn't defend from the top.
