You can tell the way a guy runs, his touch, his passing and his shooting technique. He might be more or less effective but he is never going to be class. Chermiti looks more of natural football based on what I have seen so far.
Would you be happy if the lad gets 8-10 goals in the league. Not sure what you mean by class, chermiti i cant really say just want us to manage the lad correctly so he can step up

I'd be absolutely delighted if he scores that many. Class is a pretty common description in relation to a footballer. Some players are classy in that they have good technical football skills like touch, passing ability, vision, awareness, shooting technique. Beto looks extremely raw and is entirely reliant on pace and size. As a counter example, Duncan Ferguson, although also a bruiser, was a high class footballer, he had an excellent touch, good vision and passing ability and was a clean striker of a footballer with feet or head. People would not regard Lukaku as a classy footballer despite his effectiveness.

Why would Thelwell move Beto on in the summer? He fits the profile he has in mind , relatively young with the potential to develop as a PL player and be sold for more money than we paid for him . There are so many Yellow cards these days you’d believe that even without injuries Beto and Chermiti will be needed at some time this season

Ive been consistent in my opinion that hes not the right 'type' of player we need unless were using a fast counter attacking style.

In the derby when he got the ball and Konate wasnt sent off for bringing him down, thats the exact type of football where he thrives. Give him the ball deep on a counter and his pace, aggression and strength will see him be fouled or take the ball all the way to their box.

We need to see how be does over the season but hes 26 in January and I dont see him showing attributes to replace DCL.

Weve not put money down yet and currently id sell for the same price £21.5mil rising to £25mil.

I am not convinced Dom will be with us come the end of the next Summer and you may find Beto becomes our first choice forward.

I think it depends on the fees offered for DCL. If the Saudi rumours are true and a bid of £50-60mil came in for him + we could also sell Beto then its a consideration to use the £70-90mil on a new CF and a Doucoure replacement.

Still have no idea why you keep saying move beto on has been a long term striker thelwell has looked at. Has been bought to come in fight dcl to start, or with dcl injuries the club expected him to start alot of games.

He wasnt the main target and how do we know he was even in the top names we wanted -- we havent paid anything for him yet. Perhaps thats why we signed him?

I can't put my finger on it but Chermiti has something about him, he just looks a prospect.

Totally agree with these posts.

I saw something in Branthwaite and Onana. Not without flaws and needed some development.

With Chermiti, he looks like he just might have 'it'. I think over the season if he develops well then we could all be in for a surprise and a treat next season.

Not sure what you said there as I couldn’t be bothered reading all the posts 🤷‍♂️.

Agree with other posters that he has the look of a good player…. think this lad could be another good one ..The fact we have him or Beto to bring on now is massive upgrade on maupay or maupay .. one to watch and would like to see him get some fame time against Burnley .

Seeing as your quote was at the top of my reply it probably just means you didnt want a response.

Next time consider writing your views on toilet paper before flushing them as an alternative to posting?

No , I’ll happily gave a response if you’re interested enough to reply to me , rather than lump as many people you can into a post because you can’t be bothered to take the time to reply properly.

Your last line does surprise me even for you, it’s the kind of “ tee hee, I’ve put toilet paper in a sentence , I’m so clever , “ response you’d expect from a pimply adolescent teenager.

U
Honestly I’ve not seen a single thing from this lad that makes me think he’ll be any good but the fact Dyche chooses to keep giving him minutes and experience makes me confident there must be something there as he rarely turned to Simms or Gray last season even when Dom or Beto weren’t around!
The Dyche factor is a big one as the talk seems to be of Chermitti going out on loan in January to get game time. He’s unlikely to get as many minutes in the PL with us as he would say with a Championship team , but if Dyche is prepared to play him frequently then the balance for me shifts to staying at Finch Farm and building on the experience he gets training with other PL players.

If you want to complain to the moderators about the multi quote function (which i was told to use many years ago rather than replying to individuals one by one), then go ahead.

As for "not taking the time to reply", the reply was there, clearly written. It takes 2 seconds to see your username at the top of the quote, or even the middle or end.

As for your comment(s), i cant think of anything more illustrative than using toilet paper then flushing it if you post on a message forum and dont want to bother reading a response at the very top of the quote. Then complaining about the format.

I would highlight that to be the childish action rather than my illustrative description.

Chermiti looks to have 'something'.

Hahaha , . I’ll leave it there , can’t wait for more of your “ illustrative descriptions “ 😂😂😂😂
n rather than my illustrative description.
