He shouldn’t. Dom and Beto are older and have shown much more. Chermo isn’t even close to his potential at 19/20 and was a project from the start. Still would like to see him get minutes and maybe a solid loan come January.

Think/hope he could get the nod over Danjuma for that number 10 role next time, couldn't do much worse.

He looked like he’s bulked up a bit when he came on yesterday. Read that the Portugal under 20’s had noticed a difference in him with the training regime Everton have him working on - could see a difference. He’s an interesting prospect.

Wasn't DCL a skinny lad when he first came to us and it took a good couple of years to build him up and strengthen his physique?

This lad probably also needs building up if he is going to make it in this League...which, physically and stamina-wise, is one of the strongest in the World. Let's give the kid (and our other kids) a chance instead of binning him/them off without giving them a proper chance.

I agree, likely a loan out in January may be what he will need.

….I thought the contrary. He’s not shown signs he has anything to offer but Dyche continues to use him off the bench. I presume he’s decent enough in training.

The only thing I really question at this early stage about Chermo is his agility. He looks a bit sluggish when he changes direction so I can see certain limitations there. We haven’t seen enough of him to really form a solid opinion though.
