So after following the debate for the first few pages, I watched it.

There's some fairly good content, but my main impression was that it's easy to see why some outsiders call us the "Self-pity city."

Lots of woe is me stuff in there. If these people feel so downtrodden how on earth do they think a 'scouse republic' would function? The first speedbumo they hit the wheels would come off and the eeyore face would come out.

And yeah, I'm a scouser.... South Liverpool fanny and all that but it still counts

Wasn't sure if Dixie Dean counted as Scouse. Callaghan included as he was the only decent RS. Nice fella apparently.

Definitely something to lament. Both for us and the RS it seems having scousers in the side is increasingly rare.
