Well I voted swerve as I thought we didn't have £60m + to spend on one player. Was thinking we needed a striker and a centre half more than a winger.

Dont sign a long contract extended a year before then mate. Obviously I'd have preferred we had him but I feel no sympathy. He's still an elite footballer at an elite level club, getting paid mega-elite money.

Can't blame palace for not wanting to sell on the final day of the window. Had we come in three weeks ago with good offer we would have him.
