Wings are looking weaker than last year with no Lookman now too, an injury to Richarlison and it's Bernard and Walcott.

Does seem like a losing situation for Zaha and Palace. Might lead to a player with his head turned, by Everton or whoever, and Palace lose more money as Zaha contract runs down.

Dont sign a long contract extended a year before then mate. Obviously I'd have preferred we had him but I feel no sympathy. He's still an elite footballer at an elite level club, getting paid mega-elite money.

Can't blame palace for not wanting to sell on the final day of the window. Had we come in three weeks ago with good offer we would have him.

Yes he got a pay rise but it also allowed palace to request a higher fee.

Also confirmed by the palace fan on here - it was agreed he could leave if a big fee came knocking.

Can't expect Palace to let him go on deadline day when they can't replace him. It's that simple, he could be the difference between staying up.
