8mSo we gave them Mccarthy on the cheap for no reason then?
I could be wrong but Stones form was very up and down after that happened wasn't it?I'm sure people said the same when we stopped Stones going to Chelsea that season
Palace are protecting their own interests at the end of the day
Can't expect Palace to let him go on deadline day when they can't replace him. It's that simple, he could be the difference between staying up.
More down than up the cry baby.I could be wrong but Stones form was very up and down after that happened wasn't it?
From a palace perspective what would be the point in selling your best player, even for a world record fee, if you know you cant replace him and run the risk of being in a relegation scrap? They had no time left in the window, dont think it would have mattered if we offered 80million straight cash, they'd be stupid to accept imo.I'm sure people said the same when we stopped Stones going to Chelsea that season

If Kean gets injured, doesn't settle or turns out to be crap, DCL is starting every game for us for the third season on the spin. Unforgivable.
I've read 2m and 3.5...
Think that goes without saying. We needed Niasse and Tosun out, DCL benching and two better strikers brought in. Unfortunately we now heap massive pressure on Kean with DCL his only non-pathetic backup. Awful from Everton. So you wanted two strikers?
Fixedgo lash 40m at Bergwijn right now

He was involved in a quarter of all their goals last season, it's just self preservation on their part. If it was the other way round and spurs or someone came in for richarlison today with a 100m pound bid or whatever we'd all be raging if we let him go, and weve got a far better squad than palace. Nobody can afford to lose their best players, especially on deadline day. It's all a bit of a farce imo.
