Yeah, look at what changing under performing managers did for Chelsea!!!!

They are not a basket case of a club like ours. You can moan a bitch all you want, they appointed top class coaches we appointed… uh…. Coaches. The only one in recent times, rated was Carlo. I think silva may have been unlucky, but it seemed like he’s lost the dressing room.. the rest dross. Chelsea haven’t and don’t waste money like we do either. Seem to have a scouting system, we use… football manager maybe!? Chelsea operate in a different world to us.

Time is required, unless our hand is forced.

I’m sure you may have had similar argument’s regards a certain mr Kendall when he was struggling in the early 80’s….I’m not suggesting this may turn into that, but surely that shows time sometimes reaps benefits?

The club was also the play thing, of a billionaire owner, who was happy to pay managers off at the drop off a hat, before he sold up and legged it.

I think the Kendall similarity is quite interesting, both good midfield players albeit indifferent era`s. Frank needs results and performances but unfortunately he is incapable of getting any out of this squad despite changing the majority of the starting XI in the summer window.

Not looking forward to meeting Silva again, they will pump us...

Why? I care about Everton and would rather somebody with a proven track record managing us.
Proven track records are a fallacy

Koeman - 2 seasons at Southampton, managed in Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands, still got sacked

Allardyce - success at lower league level and establishing Bolton as a PL club for a decade, turfed out by both Newcastle and Blackburn, got 4 years at West Ham, lost the England job by being corrupt

Silva - biggest club before us was Sporting Lisbon

Ancelotti - resume speaks for itself

Benitez - tried to destroy the club

At least Koeman was hired on the basis of being a success at Southampton. Silva did his work elsewhere as well. And is currently beating a Villa side with a manager with the same win percentage as ours.

More concerned about this season than last. No Norwich or Watford this season taking up the bottom two spaces. Need a minimum of two wins from our next four or we are in deep deep trouble.
