Yeah that is the one positive I wish could come from this whole 'Poo show' But you know he will be silenced with his payoff.
Also Lamps is to respectful a man to come out cursing his former employers.
He's probably to nice a bloke for his own good, and that will end up always being his downfall as a manager ( And the Tactics ).

Last bit is a real debate.

"Everton have enough quality players to escape relegation under a competent manager"

I have read that a few times today. I genuinely think these are people who dont watch Everton regularly.

But i hope they're right and i'm wrong.

Did they name the quality players? No? Yeah thought not.

Marco Silva is doing ok, Everton almost killed him.

He's seemingly a good man, always came across as thoughtful and sincere - but boy oh boy was he not up for this impossible job.
Hope he takes the Marco Silva route to a more stable smaller club and builds up.

1.8m to spend in the summer? That was the supposed budget the summer before, when the fat snail was still manager here. Frank/Kevin spent a lot more than 1.8m in the summer.

I've backed Frank but let's get one thing right; our survival was pure luck, as it's been before. If you go down to the wire, it's all luck because you've already proven you can't do it on purpose.

I tweeted about Frank earlier today which was pretty well received:

Frank Lampard leaves with my respect. He unified our club which contributed massively to keeping us up. He could have taken easier jobs to make himself look good, but no he took on a huge challenge at Goodison Park. Wish him well in the future all the best Frank! @everton #EFC

With limited characters I kept it short but I do also feel like Frank wasn’t able to get the best out of his players, he had a 17.39% win percentage with our current squad this season. The decision to let him go was in truth overdue. Do these ex-players like Frank who had natural work-rate, unbelievable drive and strong mentality know how to challenge young lads on mega money like DCL?

A nice guy who clearly fell in love with our great club and who did well to keep such a poor squad of players in the top-flight last season.

The frightening thing is is that the players really do seem to be giving their all. They’re just not good enough.

All we can do is get behind our players and our new manager (whenever he might be appointed) and hope for the best.

Certainly when we as fans were positive towards the end of last season we won almost every game.

Just not a strong enough character , ran out of ideas and was going around in circles .

Tactics , setup and subs, Sunday league standard .

Signings mostly dreadful.

Lost the dressing room and divided the fans, after " bringing us all together " and " saving us ".

Derby 6th- 6th
Chelsea 6th - 6th
Everton 16th - 19th

Stats are mostly a worse read again. Just not the man.

I liked Frank and I'm sorry he's gone, but it had to happen in the circumstances, I understand that.

Most of the pundits I've heard today say the fact that we've had so many managers in recent seasons seems to show that
the on field problems are largely the fault of the people running the club and that this squad shouldn't be this low in the
table. It's nowhere near top four level, but it's much better than bottom three.

We need some new manager bounce and I hope they have someone decent ready to go, soon.
