It really doesn’t. Someone who gets Everton. Sounds like we’re stuck in the 1960s expecting a manager to come in who’s always loved the blues. Not gonna happen.

Brighton manage to find managers. Villa found a good one. Need to think outside the UK.

That idiot thelwell needs to know that managers can be recruited from overseas prob at a lower cost as well.

Dyche, Silva, koeman, lampard, Moyes etc.

To be honest I have supported Everton since 1964 and I don’t “get Everton”? I just want a manager who can stop me dreading every game! I’m tired of the very act of watching my team being a punishment.

One of the reasons the club is failing so badly right now is because a portion of the fan base have insisted on bringing in a new manager every year and all the disruption that brings. Crazy.

You still have the problem of a highly limited squad and a midfield that can't string 3 passes together.
Get Garner central. Go long with Beto and DCL up top and try and get the midfield to win the second ball.
This squad really is that poor. Just play the simplest type of football that you can

That’s what we’re playing, I’m not sure I’f we had 2 brilliant technical midfielders it would make any difference, as his tactic is to punt it up to the big 6”4 centre forward and feed off scraps.

We have some decent footballers Imo, im sure another manager could get them playing a bit more football, with a plan and some proper coaching.

With a striker we would have battered Fulham and Wolves. We played for a 0-0 against Arsenal and nearly got it. You have to give Dyche time with a fully fit squad.

That’s a load of rubbish imo, yes first half v Fulham we missed a few good chances. Wolves was a lot closer, they also missed a couple of very good chances, Their young striker silva missed a sitter and they scored a goal, Pickford made a great save We definitely didn’t batter wolves, we probably had more half chances than them

Everton is the biggest prem job he could get right now, also because of Chelsea the top 6 when they need a new manager may think twice, even if he’s doing well with us, so could help us have some longevity.

We’re going nowhere fast with dyche, hopefully new owners and a new board will look to build with a modern manager
