New Everton Stadium

Some enterprising people went to the moon in 1969. I’m sure the the majority of people, if not all, can find a way to get to BMD in 2025 without too much trouble
There are 1000s of tickets left for Peterborough a few days before we play them - IMO its due to it being midweek . We will have 13,000 more seats to fill in 8 months time. The transport issues at BMD should not be lightly dismissed.

Since so many people seem to be worried about getting to and from the new ground, perhaps this is a great opportunity for some budding entrepreneur to hire some buses and provide the service on matchdays?

(I would add a picture of richarlison driving the bus, but cba really)
They're planning for it. For a few of the pubs on County Road it'll pay them to keep the fans coming in for a beer pre-match and running a free bus to Bramley Moore. Won't work long term coz pubs will open closer to BM but it might buy the pubs a season or two more custom while we all stick to our "pre match traditions"

Thought this was interesting. Obviously nowhere near as complex a build as BMD, but that’s still a quick build! Looks superb too.

These projects are often quite ambitious in their initial scheduling, will be interesting to see quite what point they’re at in 2026.
Edit - this is 6 month old now but give an idea of where they’re at and how long planning and by the looks of it, financing….

Originally budgeted at €160m plus €10m of local gov works…… let’s see where they land with costs in the end.

That's because we are terrible to watch and with no real hope of winning the FA Cup.
And its being played on a Thursday night. The magic of the FA cup was all about the first weekend in January, with the top teams coming into the competition in the 3rd round. Even games with teams that were 3 or 4 levels apart had a buss about them, especially from the massive travelling support from the smaller teams getting a chance to play in the top division grounds, and having so many of these type of games being played over a couple of days at the weekend. There`s no magic playing on a Thursday night and its a shame as it makes it really tough for any Perterbourgh fans to get to a game because of the long journey and folks having to work and kids having school the next day.

Roughly half the size of our ground, for roughly a sixth of the budget?

Good luck, Cagliari!
