2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

Overhyped, sadly he's not what people have made out he is. Decent player, but certainly not exceptional
I couldn’t agree with that, but he’s definitely not playing as well as last year and I’d be more confident of keeping him than I was last year.
I was happy at first he was kept away from England first team to stoo the media trying to sell him, but now it could work against us and he may feel he needs to move on to become first choice.

Leave us for where right now? He hasn't got the ability to make a top CL level team. Not right now. He's proven that this season. He hasn't just plateaued he's dipped in form.
Hes part of the team that has conceded the 5th least goals in the league, you are talking utter bumrot im afraid Dave.

I dunno why you are so eager to pretend hes fell off a cliff, maybe its since Dyche left??? Maybe thats your angle, but you are very wrong im afraid.

It's nothing to do with Dyche.

He's been way off what he was producing last season. Everyone else sees it but you dont.

Hes had a few moments, but he always had a few moments, the boy will play at the very top, I see that, im sorry you cant.

I think so too.

However, no decent CL club is coming to Everton to pay the type of cash we'd want for him anytime soon.

Needs to add a good bit to his game. Most of all he needs to prove he can carry the ball forward and use it. He doesn't do that enough, and sadly he wont get that coaching from Moyes.

IMO, having looked at the two, I'm increasingly of the opinion there's more headroom for O'Brien than Branthwaite.
