MOYES, YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER

In my books Moyes showed lack of respect when bidding before he even was offically ManUs man.
Ofcourse there could be things that we are not aware of...

He hasn't done anything he's not within his rights to do. I would expect him to try to sign the best players he can while he's at united. That's what he did with us. Think you're taking it a bit personally.

You're right, he hasn't done anything that he's not within his rights to do.

But you are happy with his behaviour? Do you think he's treated Everton FC with the respect that it deserves?
Can we not expect better from our manager for the past 11 years?

I was a huge Moyes fan but I think we should show a little pride here if only in how we view his.
There's a worrying reticence in some of the comments on here. Nil Satis?

People aren't seeing that it really doesn't matter what Moyes values him at any more. He's not going to be the one taking the bids. Even if they did consult him about a possible value for Baines United were obviously going to start lower ffs.

I can't see what you think he's done wrong. People just seem to be looking for excuses to hate him.

1) Are people seriously bothered about him having 2 days of his contract remaining when the bid came in???
2) Size of the bid doesn't bother me because i doubt he was responsible for it and even if he was I would expect him to be acting in his new club's interests not ours.
3) Him leaving when his contract expired is fair enough, he did his job as well as he could for the time he and the club agreed. Would it be more honest of him to ditch us after committing to us for longer?

If it makes you feel better to find reasons to dislike him just because you feel rejected then fair enough, and if i was a teenager who had a fit girlfriend who'd just dumped me for someone else then I'd probably do the same, but I think it's a very different situation. So I don't see why we have to hate him for doing his job as well as he could while he was contracted to.

Though I'm upset at Moyes coming in for Baines, I can't get morally outraged because Martinez is doing the exact same thing by going in for Wigan players

I know Wigan are in a lower division to us but the fact remains that Martinez and Moyes are both doing what a lot of managers do when they leave a club

I'm not saying I agree with the pratice but I am saying that there's no moral reason to have a dig at Moyes without having a dig at Martinez too

I think there's a major difference in that Whelan basically opened his arms and invited Everton to bid for their players when Martinez left.

Another clubs manager has made a bid for our best player...SHOCK...HORROR!!!

It was rejected, who cares?
Not just 'another club's manager' - the Moyesiah. The man who thinks we're special.

Football's just a business though. It's *right* That he acts like a **** and tries to asset strip us on the dirt cheap. In fact it's been described in this thread as admirable.

I do wish people would stop trying to minimize what this turd is doing here.
