More United fans, great.

Doing well so far....only a slight hint of City hatred.....no anti scouse yet!!!

Yay this thread needs more Pabbers! We aren't allowed to dislike City and Liverpool then? But I support United, it comes with the package :D

I actually don't mind City - they're such a plastic, pathetic entity of a club that I honestly don't care when they're winning games. It doesn't effect me. Empty seats galore, week after week, can't even sell-out the Bayern Munich game - they had to put the tiickets on general sale for it! lol On top of all that, they play in baby blue. They just need a pink away kit now!

Liverpool on the other hand, man, I can't deal with seeing them good. Last season was very difficult for me. Thank the Lord for giving us Jose Mourinho and Crystal Palace.

Just doing a bit of fishing.....and it worked. :)

Anyway, its called rivalry and its cool. I can hate something about most clubs.

I like City, but hate them too, Same with United. Loads of things to admire about both clubs.

City have good support, not the best but its still good.

I don't really 'hate' any football club. I've had a lot of personal stuff happen over the last 2 years which has been really difficult for me and family SO I take ALL football with a pinch of salt now. It's not life or death, it's just 22 men kicking a round thing about.

Hope not too bad mate, still hear to tell the tail though.

I get more angry when watching on TV, than I do in the ground. I dont understand that.

Thanks mate.

Yeah I am exactly the same, I get more agitated watching on tv - it's probably because we have commentators telling us how c**p our teams are!

I think it's ok to play the tippy tappy stuff for 90+ minutes, every game of the season, if you're Barcelona and have their playing staff AND play against Spanish sides who aren't so physical every weekend.

But you need to mix it up in our league. Laudrup realised this when he took over at Swansea. He kept the footalling ethos there i.e. a short passing, easy-on-the-eye controlled game - but he made them more direct and more aggressive.

Monk is trying to do this with Swansea as well - he's making them more "dirty" if you like, harder to play against.

This is where I worry about Martinez. He absolutely won't change his philosophy, no matter what is going on on the pitch. We're far too soft at the minute, not just physically but mentally. Our players often look complacent and casual on the ball, especially in our own half, and when we're up against hard working opponents they will take the ball off us in dangerous areas. We don't look switched on most of the time

When you've got maybe the best goal keeper in the league and clinical strikers, you'll always have a chance. That's the difference between us and Liverpool now - we have match winners on the pitch in Di Maria, Rooney and Van Persie. They have Rickie Lambert.

I am still buzzing this morning. We have our left back, our right back, Di Maria, Falcao and Blind missing yet we've won 5 in a row. We've beat Arsenal and Southampton at their own grounds, drew with a superb Chelsea team, beat Everton, beat a very good West Ham team and narrowly lost to City at their place.

We've got the right manager in charge and we'll only get better once our first choice players are back, hopefully anyway.

I've noticed that a lot of people who were laughing and writing us off after our shaky start to the season have crawled back into their holes, too. Remember, LVG is performing miracles with VALENCIA at right back and ASHLEY YOUNG at left back! Moyes would have us sat in 10th now with the injuries we've had.

We're getting there, slowly and surely.

........ likewise all the Utd fans who have been hibernating for 18 months have suddenly started walking the streets again.

Hibernating? United fans have been pretty patient and full of good spirit throughout the last season and a half. They haven't stopped singing on the terraces and our away support as been amazing as ever.

The good thing about a lot of our fanbase is that we can take the piss out of ourselves as well. We know we've been rubbish, I don't know any Utd fan who has claimed otherwise.

But some of the comments at various forums I read were hilarious beginning of the season - people writing us off left, right and centre; which is pretty understandable considering we dominated for 20+ years.

So your remark is way off I'm afraid my Blue friend :D

Its not way off the mark though. This bolded part is exactly what i am talking about. Now you feel the need to voice that your team isn't a write off, won a few games in a row with some good results ' we are back '... You've done nothing and we are only 15 games in. You're on a decent little run, no denying that and good luck to you, but so are the likes of Newcastle and West Ham.... and what like ?

I don't know what forums you were visiting in viewing those comments but 99% of this forum were in agreement that Utd would certainly challenge this season; rightly so considering the money spent, less competitions. Only the clueless would see otherwise. If you were visiting RAWK or Bluemoon then they are always going to write Utd off, no matter what.

No offence mate, but you must have been living in a cave for the last 18 months.

It's been non stop comedy from United "fans", crying, pathetic interviews, Andy Tate Vines etc......the sarcastic cheers for one of your players, the boooing.

I work in a United area, and they have been so quiet the last 18 months, and as soon as you have a few wins....BOOOOM they are back with the mouth.

1 thing worse than a bad loser.....a bad winner.

The away fans have been good in numbers as always, but last season was the first time i have ever seen United sing anti Scourse songs ALL game, and 'Murderers' and 'Always the Victims' to us at Goodison before.....

When your team is poor, it brings the worst out of the supporters.

And the "20 Times" song....is just the same as Liverpool's "5 times...."

But you can't generalise an entire fanbase. I generalise the idiots at RAWK but never the entire Liverpool fanbase.

And don't act as if butter wouldn't melt when it comes to Evertonians either - I've met some really nasty, bitter, vile Toffees (I've got a long story about 3 blues I met in Mexico in 2005 after Pool had won the European Cup, the stuff that came out of their mouth was vile, but it might have been drink talking!)

But I ALSO know plenty of lovely, intelligent, grounded Evertonians. I hate it when people generalise fanbases - it's naive, lazy and quite frankly a load of old bo****ks.

So the the plane banners asking for Moyes to be sacked and begging Ronaldo to come back were just having a laugh ;)

Again, did the ENTIRE United fanbase order the plane banner? No, it was a few idiots. I remember RedCafe around the time, the majority on there hated the banner and I also found it cringeworthy.

Every single fanbase has their numpties - even yours! ;)
