Tough injury stretch for them, but how do you come up with 43 injuries?
Read it the other day mate. Rooney was our 43rd injury this season.

Must be counting multiple injuries to the same player, right? You can't have more than 43 in your first team? (Not that I can be arsed to look it up myself.)
made up felli is finding his confidence, genuinely am, he was a top player for us and would hate to have seen that forgotten and him go down as a failure due his time at utdYep, 43 different injuries. They all count mate, most of them to vital players i.e. Shaw, Rooney, Blind and Di Maria.
Yet we're sitting in 4th and could go 3rd on Monday evening. LVG is getting stuff right, it was just going to take time.
I said to people after our poor start to the season that we'd come good with a bit of time - we simply have too many good players not to.
Defence is dodgy. Best keeper in the league apart from Courtois. Midfield is good now. Attack has goals in it wherever you look. Plus a manager at the helm who has won it all and seen it all.
Special mention to Smalling and Microphone head too. LVG has really got them lads playing. Brilliant stuff.

De Gea has been brilliant, he has saved you so many points this season and he has managed to do it with an ever changing back line in front of him.Yep, 43 different injuries. They all count mate, most of them to vital players i.e. Shaw, Rooney, Blind and Di Maria.

even more pleased he is doing it at cm, one in the face for ignorant pundits like redknapp and morphy who insist he can only be used at acm, and clearly paid no attention to what he did in 5 years at everton. utd will be good fun under lvg, its an exciting squad even if its still a little patchy in partsHe's a nice lad is Fellaini and gives us a bit of muscle on the pitch. Very good quad player to have.

Just seems like it's a misleading stat, suggesting 43 injuries. It'd be more useful to see how many games are lost to injury; at least that's how it's done where I'm from. 1 injury that takes away a crucial player for 6 months isn't quite the same as RVP missing 4 games to different niggling injuries.
Tbf to Van Gaal he doesn't seem to be afraid of using his young players like Wilson even with more expensive and experienced options. Developing the youth playes is the major problem imo with the "throwing the money around" approach as shown by Chelsea and City squads. The club (MUFC) have leaked to press that we're giving Van Gaal another £100 million to bring in his targets Hummels, Godin and 2 other very good players I can't remember the name of. Everyone was briefed last night, Telegraph running with it today.
Apparently it's to keep players like De Gea sweet - plus the Adidas deal means we can spend more than usual. Seems our debts are finally under control and finance side is looking good at Man Utd.
Not sure I like the "new United" though. Yes, we've always spent big money but we're throwing it around like City and Chelsea now.
Oh who am I kidding, I'll be like a kid in a sweet shop if we do bring in the rumoured players.
