He'd still not play next season (he'd now be too old for the U21's and behind Oviedo)

from his point of view, why sign a 3-5 year contract with us if we have to send him out on loans for 2-3 years of that? he'd be better off signing for somewhere that he'd play for every week.

If we'd have been clever we'd have sold him in January with a buy back clause, but Brian was injured so we needed him.

Do you know when it runs to Dave? Presumably all contracts arent to July 1st or January 1st ?
If it is until July 1st then the game is up and hes got himself sorted somewhere else

Dont give this feller the benefit of the doubt: he'd get his chance to play, he knows it and everyone else does. Playing time is just a smokescreen he and his agent are using to walk away from Everton for free and a big signing on fee plus more wages elsewhere.

It's Tony Hibbert's job to nip to the local sweet shop to pick them up. Sometimes it's closed and he has to break in to get them. But he always manages it and Luke goes out and plays

Let's just hope Luke's gone before our next tour of Thailand. I'd hate for Hibbo to have to take on a Bengal tiger..........
