Erm, what are you going on about?
Yes, I do blame them. The club should thank their employee for his efforts and wish him well - to not do so is unnecessary and bitter.
It's got nothing to do with the actions of their fans, it's about the club being unprofessional in that statement.
aye.His trebled wage might have swayed him a little though.
Cheer up Chuck. Moyes was not all bad. Throw in a bit more ambition and money then who knows. Can't wait to see a good defence again. Martinez made me puke with his relegation tactics and crass stupidity. I am sure his system might work for a particular group if players but they were not the ones in our squad. Here's to defending!Honestly, this is the most boring uninspired managerial acquisition in our history, at least Mike Walker, Roberto Martinez and others were a gamble and it was in a way exciting.
Not this guy. Dutch Moyes. All of you dreaming of big things, I hope you enjoy 6/7th for the next decade.
Crap.
Totally agree, we weren't giving him £6m a year either.Cheer up Chuck. Moyes was not all bad. Throw in a bit more ambition and money then who knows. Can't wait to see a good defence again. Except Moyes had not indicated he was going to pledge his future to us at that point. He has been here ages so fair enough. We were all a bit bored with him as well. Koeman has just kicked his employer and I dont blame them for not lauding him from the rooftops. For an example of how to do it, the Everton press release when Moyes left for Manure:
"Everton can confirm that David Moyes will leave the club at the end of the season.Contrast with classless Soton:
"The manager met chairman Bill Kenwright early yesterday evening and confirmed his desire to join Manchester United.
"The chairman, on behalf of the club, would like to place on record his thanks to David for the massive contribution he has made to Everton since his arrival in March 2002. He has been an outstanding manager.
"During his tenure at Goodison Park, David has taken charge of the team on over 500 occasions including four European campaigns.
"Everton officials will start the search for a replacement manager immediately."
"Southampton Football Club can today confirm it has accepted the resignation of First Team Manager Ronald Koeman, and completed negotiations with Everton over his move to Goodison Park.
The search has already begun for the right appointment who can take the club to the next level and build on our track record of recent success, which culminated in a sixth-place finish in last season’s Premier League, as well as qualification for the group stages of the Europa League.
Our focus now is to build on our long-term plan, and work with a new management team who share both the club’s and our supporters’ values and ambitions."

Think the Dutch one may have more pull when it comes to signings and spotting talent. Not saying Moyes was not good but Southampton stunning under the circumstances last two years. I prefer this one I think, he does not seem to do humble.Totally agree, we weren't giving him £6m a year either.
We should have went for an unemployed, free Moyes, instead we went for an overpriced Dutch one.
