2021/22 Frank Lampard

At last we have a manager who is quite clearly peed off with these clowns, once we stay up there will hopefully be funds available and he can get some players in who he wants.

Its an honest reaction, one every fan feels the same on, but a risky move by Lampard....these players are spineless, and more likely to down tools than get into the bunkers with the manager and fight....

He'll know now how many players he needs to move on in the summer....which won't be easy, as buyers will be hard found, and we are already handcuffed by FFP....we have 2 players of value who will have to be sold in the summer to fund an overhaul of nearly the entire squad...

Will players give their all, and fight, for a club they know they won't be at next season?....will players give their all, and fight, for a manager who dared hurt their precious egos with a public dressing down?...

Problem is he can't drop all of them so who can he drop?

We don't have the squad to play any formation. It's shocking
He needs to identify his best team and stick with it through hell or high water - barring injuries/suspensions. Tell the 11 they are his men. Tell the rest to wait for their chance. Right now, the chopping and changing is a hindrance and even though we do not have 11 players we can rely on, we need to put the least worst 11 on the pitch every game.

Nobody needs to be rested now. 11 matches to save the club and many careers that are associated with it right now.

So it’s the managers fault again eh? Jesus Christ. Frank Lampard is a serial winner, who has won everything there is to win as a player. He has come out and told us that these players are cowards. They have seen off 6 managers and are about to see to the demise of our premier league status as a club. Yet some on here are now starting with the ‘wrong appointment’ ‘out of his depth’ none sense. A person who knows what it takes to win everything is telling you point blank these players don’t have the courage to win anything. I am more than inclined to believe him.
The manager can still put the bad players in decent enough positions to succeed. I would argue that the City game is an example of this even though it didn't quite work out. But today, Spurs, Wolves, all were bad from Frank too.

Spot on.

Benitez said exactly the same thing, but in much better wordings and got sacked, beside drawn and quartered here. "we dont know why the players dont show in games what they show in training. We just have to keep working at it."" Benitez, 2 days before getting sacked.

It seems a bit lost for time, these last 2 months, for yet another manager come to the same conclusion.

Anyone calling for a new manager though is a kopite or hasnt a clue
That's a fair observation. For good or ill, Frank is the manager. He is the man who will steer the ship from the rocks to safety or back onto the rocks. To use another bad cliche, the new manager ship has sailed.

Inappropriate Language

He must be living the dream here.
Picking the least sh!ttiest of the sh!t available ?

Worrying he claimed we didn't play that badly today and worrying that he seems to be out of ideas to do anything with this group. Yes they are hapless and a disgrace to the shirt but he's got to do something with them between now and the end of the season.
Think he was talking the first 20 minutes, at which point we rolled over and took it in the beep.
Whatever way you look at it...turd n polish

Just win the home games that's all he will be focussing on. Then hopefully he can have a clear out in the summer.

Frank should be here next season, he has the fight in him, however the reality hit home today, he has actually had enough of these championship players.

Downing tools now with no fight will jeopardise their reputation and reduce any limited interest in signing them.
Hopefully that spurs them into fighting for the club.
On present performances, I of course could be wrong.

Can we please put an end to this utter nonsense statement, fed up of hearing it.
Being a serial winner as a player means nothing when it comes to management.
So was Koeman, Gullit, Lawrenson, the F*** Nevilles etccc.
Great players have never been great managers, just like the best managers were never great players.
Ferguson = Crap Player
Morinho= A third division portuguese goalkeeper
Bob Paisley = Played non league for Bishop Auckland

Cruyff was a great manager, as was Ancelotti, as was Guardiola.

Clough was a very good player as well, was Dalglish, so it’s not as simple as you say.
