2021/22 Richarlison

He will probably go for closer to £60m but £50m is not an unreasonable bid. He wants to leave, he does not have a long contract. He’s 25 so he’s not going to improve significantly beyond the level he is at currently so is not comparable to the likes of Antony who have higher ceilings.

He has averaged 10 league goals a season for 3 years now, fewer than Rashford across that same period who is of a similar age. Spurs had a bid for Rashford rejected last week. Richarlison is the next obvious, available wide player with Premier League experience.

If he goes there, good luck to him. He has done well for the club and kept us in the league last season, he deserves Champions League Football and Spurs will give him that.
We paid that for him though I dare say other clubs will be keen too

Everyone knows we’re skint and they’ll have a good idea that Richy is desperate to leave.
Wrong

& very wrong

We are not skint , we are hamstrung in ways to spend due to FFP/ Prem Sustainabilty rules.
Moshiri has never backed away from spending his money & would continue but for those rules.

Never EVER has Richy made out he is desperate to leave.

And no way this would affect his market price.

Stop talking nonsense

Problem with Spurs is that they are much better negotiators than us. They'll probably offer to waive the Dele fee, give us Winks and call it quits.

If we get our pants pulled down over this, it will be strike two against Moshiri after the Stake.Com fiasco following his "apology" for being so useless.

Be interesting to see spends now uzi appears to be out the picture

This is the same team that paid 70m for Ndonkey and 40m for Emerson right? 51m is laughable
We didn't. Emerson was £25M, 22/23 years old and was purchased to play in a back 4. Apart from a rocky start against Palace when he struggled massively against Zaha, he was good in a back 4. It's with Conte in a back 5 where he struggled because he can't cross, and even then Conte adjusted the system so he looked much better after Doherty got injured. Pretty sure we can sell him again for the exact same fee, if not more.

As for the Richarlison and Winks rumours, if the £25M + Winks is true, I do think we are robbing you here. For a club like Everton which I do respect quite a lot, Winks is not the level of player you should be looking at.

Ndombele was a tragedy. Levy got robbed by Aulas (who is another Levy) there.
