Really think he's worth that? Everyone must see something I don't that's for sure.
We paid 50 mil for him in the end
Is he a better player now? Yes
Is the market more inflated than when we signed him? Yes
Is he coming into his prime? Yes

Then he’s worth a lot more than what we paid for him.
Whether someone is willing to pay it is another matter but that’s what we should be asking for.

What other clubs? There are very few clubs can afford to pay £50m+ for any player. I do not think there are any that would be strongly interested in him at that fee.

Richarlison wants to leave.

His stats over the last few years say he is a good player not a top player.

Also, we need the money.

Those three factors suggest the deal gets done for £50-£60m.
We have no idea but I don't need to hazard a guess that there will be other CL clubs in let's not just sell him at the first bid I believe we can get 65m / 70 plus add ons at the very least when you look at the prices players go for. We all know its about more than numbers with Richy he works like a madman.

Agree look at Zaha. I believe he will go this summer but let's not just sell at the first bid from a tight Levy. If clubs meet our valuation of around 70m we deal.

.

Balance these with:

Does he want to leave? Yes
Are the club privately content with selling a key asset as we need the money? Yes.

Richarlison said in July 2020 that he could leave Everton but that Ancelotti had asked him to wait.

“He's bringing in new players, so we'll sit down and talk, but I think I can hold on for another season."

As it is with most players, it’s about ambition for Richarlison. As the club do not have the funds to have us competing for Europe for least another 2 years, that will be the biggest factor for him.

One reason I want him to go abroad if he leaves is that a lot of opposition fans don’t want him. The ungrateful bastards just complain that he’s a cheat. I know he would win them over, but it would still pain me to see him move to a club where the fans don’t initially appreciate him.

Caveat that I hate Twitter and think it’s horrible, but I have noticed that Chelsea fans seemed to like him the most just gauging the responses to links. They want a new Diego Costa type player. Responses from Spurs fans to those links weren’t as bad as some other teams, but not great.

He's just a wind up merchant and nowhere near how some are in La Liga to be fair.

This strikes me as a Levy leak to try and get him for a lower fee. We need to hold firm there will be multiple bids in the next few weeks I think

We got him for £45m we surely ain't selling him for £51m,crazy if true.

Its not that crazy when you realise he’s arguably got worse since we signed him.

As much as I like him personally and appreciate his effort he has never looked or played like a £50m forward.

We will miss him, because we're rubbish, it doesn't mean he should be one of the highest fees in the world though with people asking for bloody £80m.

80 mill isn’t one of the highest fees in the world any more though. Neymar was more than double that. Coutinho and Dembele were higher. Grealish, Lukaku has moved for around that figure twice pre and post Neymar’s move. Kane was going to go for over 100. Ronaldo moved for that fee back in 2009. Even Pepe set Arsenal back about 70 mill.

It’s a high fee but it’s no longer one of the highest fees in the world.

You didn't ask a very important question at the start that negates everything else you said.

Did we overpay for him in 2018? Yes
