Maybe the problem is not the board...perhaps lampard has a clear idea of who he wants and he is prepare to wait (broja) until deadline day if he has to even if that could be a big gamble

I think if we get Gueye or similar he can feel confident doing that. Which of those players do you trust to shield the defence? Previous seasons we've seen teams just stroll through us with Davies/Allan/Doucoure/Gomes there. Onana is nowhere near disciplined enough on today's showing and Iwobi needs to be active.

Bit of both but generally his sub choices have been poor.

He sets us up well in games, he just is crap when it comes to reacting to what other teams do.

He got it wrong today by taking both Davies and Rondon off at the same time for the players he did, and then he failed to respond when MGW came on, when he had the option of Allan or even Dele to put us to a three in midfield and match them up.

In his post match presser earlier he reaffirmed the need to 'strengthen the squad' and admits that it's still early days in getting the newer players bedded in & gelled.

Think we played some good football in parts today but too many chances fell to Davies who just shouldn't be playing. We really need to work getting the ball in the net.

Gordan can't hit it hard enough to beat a keeper and Grays shooting is dreadful unless he's 1v1

Been shafted by the DoF and some of you expect him to work miracles.
