6 + 2 Point Deductions

I don't think it's been that long tbh.
They've got to give club time to prepare, prob 48 hrs.
It's big decision and they could be accused of it being cosmetic, if it was few days.
Think it'll definitely be this week.
But don't think we'll get many/if any points back.
It's easier for PL to have tear up with one club, than 19.
Hope I'm wrong.

The PL is in trouble regardless of the outcome.

It's not just about Everton, if the penalty stays, the precedent is set and Forest are in trouble, and frankly players and agents are in trouble as well.

If the penalty is rescinded or reduced, everyone will be at their throats.

They blew it last fall with this process. They have nowhere to hide now.

I'm not saying it's a definite, clearly.

What I'm saying is the Premier League will time the release to their benefit.

As they did first time around.

You do know the 10 point penalty was known days before they released it on that Friday don't you? They delayed the announcement - for their own reasons.

Anyone who has ever worked in any PR capacity will tell you Friday afternoon is when your release news you want mitigating.

My own opinion and gut feeling is we'll hear this week if it's good news (all points back or most points back). If it's bad news (IMO, less than half), it'll be after Tuesday next week - most likely Friday.

it’s about us tho not the PL why would it benefit them?

it’s dlong the opposite keeping us waiting

just hurry up and give us them back so we’re out the bottom 3 before the games

A general comment of mid February has been taken to mean absolutely the 14th feb. No more, no less. And as a result you’ve all lost your tiny minds 🤣
It's gonna happen... Especially when like me, you didn't get a valentine's day card from the missus.

Need to vent. Or get passionate about something.

My fury is dependent on how the evening unfolds.

As with Everton... it's the waiting/ hoping that kills you.

You're right.
But it's about damage limitation now.
The path of least resistance is to stick with original decision.
Or give us back minimal points.
Why upset 19 clubs, when you can upset 1?
Regardless of rights/wrongs of process.
