    2024/25 David Moyes

Dyche is limited and we needed to get to safety with him. It was good enough for his standard of manager. Moyes could do so much better, but the thing is he is essentially a 💩house of a manager against the so called better teams.

    2024/25 David Moyes

I could stick a season of Moyes and that''s about it. His continual deference to certain clubs in this division is nauseating. He's always been a toady toward them and he always will be. But I and many others like me have seen us towering above all them and I'll never accept Everton cowering...

<looks at the table> ...I have greater ambitions for Everton.

No chance. Not even half that number. He'll retain most about to go apart from Keane. TFG will see the beauty of keeping Moyes here: they know he'll get us safe and they wont have to divert their Roma cash to the banks of the royal blue Mersey.

   GTF. As for signings: dont hold your breath with Moyes in the manager's chair. He'll want to spend f.a. so that he cant be judged next season on big spending...if, indeed, money is actually there to spend...which I highly doubt. As I've said before: I wont lose sleep over...

Let's put it this way: I'd easily have got into that Everton team when I was a late teenager/twenties.

Match Thread Everton 1-1 Arsenal. Sat April 5th. 12.30pm

I used to think Pickford was at best decent only at times. Now I dont think we could do without him. He's shut me and other critics up over the last 2 seasons or so. I'm just amazed he's still with us.

Ah right. Makes sense. Looks better at the other end of the ground though.

Overall: right now I cant see it happening for him here. Doesn't look a good fit for us. 🤷‍♂️

Elect. As for Moyes being a victim of his own success: we've stunk as many games out as been decent in since he arrived. Everton knows it. The Moyes dumb-down continues into his second period in charge at full pace sweeping up the easily impressed.

    New Everton Stadium

That's the level it's sinking / sunk down to. Unless you're going to tell me this season has been vintage? The reality is it's been drab and a bang average Liverpool tram are going to romp it on a lot less points than City in their pomp were capable of.

    2024/25 David Moyes

Itls a new era that demands ambition. Moyes I could stick for one more season, but after that he's going to be a drag on this club.

    2024/25 David Moyes

I dont offer him the low bar some do. The context was the all important thing: a depleted Arsenal team on the eve of their biggest game of the season and at Goodison made that a very winnable game for an Everton team in decent form. Moyes does this to fans: dumbs them down to accept a point...

I thought he had a few more games to play for that to happen? In any case, I wouldn't believe anything to do with contracts and clubs spoken in the media.

I dont mind Doucoure, but we can do a lot better than him and Alvaraz.

Anyone who listened to that answer Moyes gave about Alvaraz can easily see that he's never going to sign him up.

I dont rate Alvaraz that much so I could easily say Lindstrom and McNeil.

    2024/25 David Moyes

He said in his press conference in answer to the question about reaching 40 points: "I'd like to reach 70 points!" - as if it was something outrageously absurd. Martinez got 72 points no problem. Just underlines his conservatism.
