    Match Thread Leicester City 1-1 Everton - Saturday 21st September - 15:00

Unbelievable homer refereeing so far. No foul on push on DCL, bad decision with N'Diaye, any Leicester midfielder goes over whistle for a foul, blows whistle when Leicester attack peters out and we havea clear break. Played well, but the poor finishing may well cost us.

    2024/25 Ashley Young

Tbf I thought McNeil was at fault for ambling back (not for the first time). He may 'put a shift in' up front but can't be relied on to cover defensively. Harrison is whatever, wherever he plays. Young did a good job on the left when he switched.

Beaumont-Clark is older than I thought (few days away from his 19th birthday) and it was interesting to see him for the U21s. He has obviously got tremendous skills but seemed to fade in and out of the game. Thought Tierney had a good game, and Odin Samuels-Smith was nice and tidy at right-back.

    The GOT Book Club

You might also appreciate The Climb by Anatoli Boukreev, who features (unfavourably) in Krakauer's book. It's not as well written but it gives an alternate view of the events. At the time, there were big disputes in the climbing community about how Krakauer recounted the events (I believe, first...

Tbf you can't put the entire blame on the defence for that. Our midfield collapsed completely, and the subs further forward didn't help.

He's been linked a few times on here, but essentially he does a blow-by-blow live Youtube watch-along channel for United. Here's a sample if you haven't ever seen him (or you can not watch it and count yourself lucky):

Much better than expected. Looks like an absolute steal. Seems to get booked regularly for silly fouls, about the only negative I can think of.

Jermaine Jenas sacked by the BBC

I Tbh, I'm just sick of and very sceptical about the modern stance to cast yourself as a victim when you are caught doing something and blame it all on some multiple-letter mental syndrome. Then you say you are getting treatment and, in the unlikely event that anyone felt offended by your...

    Getting old

But apparently none of the tests are that accurate. My blood test came back completely positive but still need to go regularly at 4am (and while I'm drinking beer and watching EFC games at the same time - lucky I'm not at Goodison). You only get fingered here if your blood is a bit iffy.

Maybe not Dixon, he was knackered at the end of today (I imagine Coleman might be given a run out) but Beto, Metcalfe, O'Brien and Armstrong.

Well, I can see what Dyche means about Ndiaye, Lindstrom and Beto. The first two might have nice touches but they aren't particularly effective. Beto is another Dennis, so nothing more to be said. Dixon was OK in the first half, but tired rapidly (understandably). I thought he was playing...

No VAR for a red card. Of course not, Spurs players just are not that kind of footballer.
