New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

We were compliant apparently. They already have done a big job reducing our interest payments from more than £50m a year to half of that. This season we've already had a much better deal with Castore, then the new stadium will bring in a lot more money.

More of a one hit wonder in the UK, had a load of other good songs though

    New Everton Stadium

Mentioned it after the last game there that it would look great with all the fan made flags draped over there. The 1878s are producing loads of new ones and they'd hide the wall and make it all feel as one large tier.

    Everton transfers that didn't happen

Think we had a fee agreed with Cardiff for Aaron Ramsey but Arsenal came in for him

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Be happy if he stayed, it's a shame he got injured just as we were starting to improve. Beto stepped up, but would have been good to have two different types of strikers available. If he stays then we can focus on attacking midfielders and other areas.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think it's going to be very different. Keane, Harrison, Mangala and DCL, possibly Doucoure all won't be here next season, can't see Coleman and Young both staying, Lindstrom's not doing enough and Broja constantly injured, Virginia and Begovic probably gone too. There's only talk of Gana...

    2024/25 Harrison Armstrong

Only a quick video, but looks like he's got so much to his game already... good tackles, carrying the ball forward, passing forward, making space for himself, quick layoffs and good vision. Want to watch a Derby match now

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Be lovely if Salah, VD and TAA all left on frees, big job replacing them and they’d try to do it on the cheap. Two very good buys with Salah and VD but will be very hard to repeat that. Haven’t watched them this season but they looked bang average against us, without Salah and his goals...

    Manchester United

Listened to a bit of the Ratcliffe interview and he seems like he loves the attention doesn't he! Slagging off the current players and saying if they didn't do all these cuts they'd be out of business by the end of 2025 which is complete bs. That new stadium is horrendous and they are run by a...

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

Moving away from DoF seems the right thing to do, putting your trust in one man to run the whole club, choose the manager, style of play and final say over who the club signs will always be risky and a huge job. Will be interesting to see the setup they make.

    New Everton Stadium

Sure I've read that if it's done as a certain type of refinancing then it doesn't go towards ffp, Tottenham have done this for their stadium. Hopefully ours is the same

    The Club World Club

Zero interest personally, but then I only really watch Everton games. Will be interesting to see the audience numbers globally and how many people would want to watch Man City vs Al Ain FC. The annoying thing is it will probably further impact the domestic leagues and cups with more rules...

    2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

Another good game for him. Hopefully we'll see him alongside Ndiaye at the end of the season, two very good players on the break.

Strange point to make, we had more players out injured and you could still bring on Yoro and Garnacho, still having Eriksen and Lindelof left
