Hopefully mate, just think he'll do well in the league.
Their transfer record is very good to be fair - they need a striker badly so even if we were interested he might just want game time after his Napoli experience.
Completely agree mate. "Net spend" is irrelevant.
For me it's about WHO we bring in rather than what we spend. If we get a player that improves us then we can't complain, especially if we've funded it by selling deadwood.
The one position we could use another quality player is in that second...
Hasn't Yarmolenko gone off the boil since the deal with us fell through? Think he's had some injuries.
If he's anything like what he was I'd have him for sure.
Fair enough. Used to play for Bayern and would probably be a reasonable price.
Moyes can find some real gems so I hope he has the funds to buy a few players for you.
I'd like you lot to stay up and I think Moyes still has time to get it right.
Seems that Oviedo could be a serious option for you guys then with van Aanholt going.
Getting £14m and buying Oviedo for £5-10m wouldn't be bad business as he's a good player.
I'm a big fan of Sigurdsson too mate but for me we needed a Schneiderlin more (obviously we've since had Davies boss games but the middle is where matches are won and lost).
We tried for Sigurdsson in the summer but he said no, and I imagine the price he'd carry right now would be £30-40m based...
Spurs are the perfect example of how the gap can be closed.
It's far from impossible. For every Griezmann teams buy, they'll also have a Robinho. Unlimited funds is where mistakes are made.
We need to buy smart and Donkor is exactly the type of player we should be going for.
He's a Germany...

Oviedo and Gibson to Sunderland.
The likes of the Man City youngster and the Wolfsburg winger has Walsh written all over it.
I'm really liking how he's putting the long term plan together.
