This "carpet bagger" term is exactly the same insult he has hurled at Kenwright and co over the years.

Yes that's right, he is directly comparing Moshiri to Kenwright, despite the 80m interest free loan, the down payment of 30m for BMD, despite a positive NET spend (chortle) since he has been here and all of the other things that have happened at the club since his arrival.

I find this insulting and am offended at the outrageous slurs thrown at majority shareholder and owner of Everton who is 100% moving the club in the right direction.

if a Kopite came on here making claims like this they would be banned immediately.

No angst here. Just amusement. I wholeheartedly agree with the poster's opinion but was amused at the implication that watching a lot of something somehow makes you an expert at it.
So sorry too wasn't meaning to escalate anything ... I am bored on a train to Newport from Manchester and feeling mischievous

PL proven is something of a myth though. Plenty of players are "proven"- coasting along at mid table to bottom half clubs. Can they make the step up though? Will they take you up a level? Tbf to him I know Sigurdsson is better than that level- he's a standout performer in a sea full of waste. Also I'm not advocating spending 50 million on a foreign import- I don't think it would take that much to source someone of similar quality. Swansea did it in the first place, Southampton do it all the time, Walsh did it at Leicester, so why can't we?
