Another net spend disciple. Pay it no mind.?????
Hopefully the Everton board are, right now.

Money spent on players isn't what wins games but the players themselves. Sign 10 Sandro priced players and win or have a net spend buying Benteke and some other jarg in vogue players and lose. But hey at least we are top of the net spend table!
Nope and a world class manager won't know how to put an attacking team together either.Aye a billionaire accountant won't have a clue about spending money.
Or we could buy players who aren't world class but are younger and have potential to improve and gain in value.
Chelsea/City have spend less on 22 year old players from Monaco's CL semi final team than we are bidding for 28 year olds from Swansea.
There was me thinking accountants manage money not spend it.Aye a billionaire accountant won't have a clue about spending money.
How do we get from where we are now to being a team where players don't "want out" as you put it? This is the crux of the matter for me. We can all agree that we got good money for Lukaku and that keeping him, and his incessant international break briefings, would have caused more harm (Barkley is a whole other issue though as I'm not at all convinced we will get good money for him). His stated reasons for wanting to leave is because he wanted CL and to win things. Well, we wan't that too but we are stuck in a troubling position that when we bring players along to the point where they are capable of these things they invariably want out. At some stage we have to break this cycle and part of that is not shrugging our shoulders and accepting our status as a second tier team. We may have to sell to buy, we may not, but what is certain is that if we continue to sell our best players year on year then we will never move beyond our current status and we will never win anything other than the odd cup following a kind draw and a flukey run. 22 years and counting. We still banging on about "sell to buy"? Rom wanted out and was sold, Barkley wants out an will be sold. What's the issue? If players want out and refuse to commit then you have to sell them. What is so difficult to understand?

...update on the West Derby cash machine. For the cause, I have camped out since 12.30 and not seen him. I have to admit to being in the close by pub bar drinking Guinness but I did my bit.
I would say let's just wait and see first. He's yet to prove himself that.Nope and a world class manager won't know how to put an attacking team together either.
